Define the commissioning scope

Clarify whether the role owns factory acceptance, site acceptance, energisation planning, performance testing, defect management or final handover. State which contractors and equipment vendors the person will coordinate.

Prioritise safe delivery

Interview evidence should cover permit systems, isolation procedures, commissioning sequencing, test records and escalation of non conformances. Relevant authorisations and competence must be verified against the actual site requirements.

Reduce interface risk

Battery systems, power conversion equipment, transformers, protection systems and supervisory controls may be supplied by different parties. Strong commissioning leadership keeps responsibilities visible and documents the path to operational acceptance.
